for a little info on my WRX backseat.

this picture shows the difference in the bolts of the back seat. for some reason the car has 2 bolt holes for seats, the stock seat bolts to the lower bolthole and the wrx one bolts to the top one.

the only problem so far is that its got this gap on the side where th e WRX's have some plastic thing

I like the mesh and the grill. You should shoot it with some black paint to get rid of those chips.

I was considering doing something similar to that.....but what I think I'm goign to do now is transfer the vertical support from another grill to the center piece to replace the emblem part and then have it painted. I think that'd look pretty cool.

That'll be my winter project when I want to play in the garage.

It does look sharp, something I'd only do with a 2nd grill though.

true, true!
Jake, that grille straight ROCKS, i love the style.. i had an idea similar to that, and I was bidding on a pretty sweet JDM grille on ebay for the facelifted legs, but i lost.. which means i might be going the same route you just did.. that's pretty frickin' cool. Did you just use the APC-type mesh, or something else? What are you gonna do about the center emblem? Make it a pink I, or the stellar?
Nice Work.

quickdrive- yeah, we have a few parts lying around.

tristan- yeah i'm happy with the way it turned out. it just got a few more layers of flat black paint. i actually used some chickenwire i got from ace  i'm messing with the emblem (trying to change the background color) so well see how that goes. i wish i could use the "I" badge but the badge sizes are different

Why would you want an Impreza"I" badge on a Legacy..

Plastic gutter guard works, too. I used it in my 1984 wagon's 'Mean Face" grille. The mesh fit behind the teeth.
