I highly suggest everyone check out www.Stoptech.com for some of the technical articles.

They are all well written and contain a lot of information.

I specifically want to reference this article:

http://www.stoptech.com/whitepapers/ble ... 122701.htm

And question the type of ABS unit we have. Is it a hidden passage system or not?

If it IS, then I want to go buy another bottle of ATE SuperBlue so I can get it ALL changed.
2009 Outback 2.5XT. 5MT. Satin White Pearl.
2009 Impreza 2.5i Premium. Blue.

Well, for those of us with the non-2E Nippon system, with the hydraulic unit that looks like this:

...the factory service manual's bleeding procedure just says to bleed at all six bleeders in this order:

- Bleeder between left front and right rear fittings on hydraulic unit
- Bleeder on right front caliper
- Bleeder on left rear caliper
- Bleeder between right front and left rear fittings on hydraulic unit
- Bleeder on left front caliper
- Bleeder on right rear caliper
