I need help!

I am dumb founded. I have reset my ecu a bunch of time and I am still getting weird codes. Lets keep in mind the 91 ej22t seems to be running fine. These are the codes 22, 23, 35, 42, 44, 45. The turbo seems a little slugish in second gear but other than that the car is running fine. I would be greatful for in inputs.

When you reset the ECU, do the codes clear?

No. I have tryed to clear them by using the instructions posted here on this site and I have tryed clearing them by doing a battery diconnect. All six or seven codes come back. Some times its feels like the wastegate is not working. Most time I get a good spool up and some times I don't.

Does the Check Engine light come on while you're driving?

Yeah it never goes off. I have tried everything and I have never got an all clear signal.

Well, maybe it makes sense to check out the knock sensor.

Do you have an updated-design sensor on your car yet?

I have not checked the knock sensor. How do I know if it is the updated one and where is it located?

The old one has a grey connector, it was prone to cracking and was oversensitive (would detect something other than knock and pull timing). Replace it with a new sensor from your favorite local dealer, and it should have a white connector on it, telling you that it's updated.
