engine codes

Post by irishsetter »

Some where on this site someone posted an excellent engine code peice that had all the codes and explained how to reset the codes. I have search and have failed to relocate this peice. Does anyone know where this is. I have a 91 ej22t and about 6 or 7 different codes. I am having trouble with some hesitation in 2nd gear almost like turbo isses. Any feed bak would be appreciated.

Thanks so much for the info. I followed the directions and none of my codes would clear so I did the old battery disconnect and still no luck. I am getting codes 22,23,24,35,42,44,45. That is as far as I can tell. Do you think that these codes could be caused by one problem. It just seems odd that there are so many at one time.

have you tried the d-check mode? Sometimes that will clear the codes or help show you if you have another issue.

I would personally change the Knock sensor first. It can be responsible for a lot of problems.

Knock sensor is #22 I think.
