Hi I have a 91 legacy and I'm in the process of installing a new system and I was just wondering where you guys have wired your power cable through the firewall or what you have done there I am haveing some trouble finding a good place to feed it through, any suggestions?

There is a pretty large grommet on the drivers side to the left of the brake booster if your standing at the front of the car looking into the engine compartment. You can pop it out, cut a hole in it with an exacto knife or whatever and run your wire through it with it out of the car and then put it back in. I hope that makes sense. Its not difficult.

If your talking about a power wire for an amp than yes, I ran mine through the grommet on the firewall. Then my amp and stuff got stolen. Depending on your neighborhood and stereo system you might want to invest in an alarm, and a baseball bat or 9mm. I thought my neighborhood was nice until i started finding broken windows when i came out in the morning. Damn kids from Denver.
