don't get your panties in a bunch. Notice that there is tech in the link you posted? You want to keep in exhaust thread, make it tech. If not, it's not. until then, keep crying.
I'd rather just call you a jerk. It's people like you that make boards like this no fun. One of my first threads you locked and insulted me and told me to search. I already had.
I'd expect a moderator to wish members to stay on a board, not discourage them and be rude to them.
I assume you're talking about the thread where you were asking if a downpipe for a WRX would fit your car? I don't recall him insulting you...
And wasn't he right? There were several other threads that answered the question?
What's wrong with him moving a thread about downpipe pictures to the picture gallery forum?
Please calm down, Cliff... Jason's not on a power trip; he's just trying to be a good moderator. Having threads in the wrong place and having redundant threads makes the board harder for people to use in the future... I'm sure some of that interfered with your searching for the answer to the downpipe question.
Even if you don't agree with his decisions about those two threads, you can't say the decisions were made without reason. Right?

The "keep crying" comment and the "don't get your panties in a bunch" comment were both unnecessary and unprofessional. In the other thread I referenced, he was rude also. I've since found more information as well as purchased an exhaust, but at the time I had done a search and not found what I was looking for. My real problem is with the attitude, not him performing moderator duties.
I tend to agree with the moderating he does, Jason just happens to have a sense of humor. Stick a post in the wrong place, and get made fun of. Think of it as punishment for wasting his volunteered time. It's awesome.
WOW!!! LOOK AT THAT!!! There are pictures in your thread. That means... it belongs in the Pictures forum. Reasons:
1) there is no question about your exhaust.
2) you already know its going to fit, and the purpose of the item.
3) your showing it off with...
4) PICTURES!
So... uh, the moderator was right. You were wrong. You shoulda put it here in the 1st place. But the moderator was nice enough to move it for you So you should thank him.
Can we get a sticky of that link in 'Stuff you need to know' forum?:)? But seriously...we've all got a sense of humor and a sense of the actual seriousness of the situation, nothing that's worth any hard feelings over on anybody's behalf.
It's 3" all the way back. I asked for the exhaust shop not to mangle my stock parts, but they cut off the stock exhaust pipe and ran 3" piping into the actual canister.
Everything else was fine. Pulls better now and is still pretty quiet.
That's the most efficient way to run the downpipe for subaru thus far.. IF i had a turbo legacy, i'd want to run the wastegate off to the side instead of reconnecting with the exhaust. that'd rock.
