Driving dreams

Post by Tleg93 »

I had a dream the other night that I was driving my '91 turbo on a long straight desert road with no other cars in sight. My girl was beside me and she was grinning happily. Magen was driving stong and everything seemed cool and I was happy. We stopped at a gas station and there were several board members there working on their cars.

Has anyone here ever had a memorable driving dream? Do you think dreams ever offer a small window to the future?

I tend to think that most dreams are based on internal conflicts or feelings but every now and then one sticks out and stays with me for a while. This is one of those kind of dreams. Full of omens or not it was a good dream but I was just wondering if anyone ever had a driving dream that had any impact on their life or helped them make a decision about something.

I had a dream that I was tracking the Nurburgring in Lauren. It was nice, she didn't skip a beat.

I've just been dreaming about snowboarding, lately. Something about near absolute freedom on the slopes.

Sometimes I have very obviously representative dreams where my subconscious is trying to tell me something. I never have sex dreams, sometimes driving dreams, but they're usually either with me finding my old cars somehow and driving them or some old exotic. Most of my dreams are pretty stupid inane shit. Once in a while I have a premonition dream where I'll have a conversation with someone and a week or so later I'll have that exact same conversation like deja vu, but I'll then remember the dream and where the dream conversation diverges from the real conversation, like usually in real life killer rabbits don't interrupt by coming into the room and even though I can only move in slow motion I still manage to kick their furry asses.

When I have dreams about my car, it's usually something bad happening to it :(. I've had a tree fall on it, I've had it struck by lightning, I've been in serious accidents with it, I've had it stolen before. That pretty much tells me it's just anxiety being relieved through my dreams.

Nah.. Tarantino's out; Make way for Rob Zombie! I've been watching House of 1000 Corpses over and over and over again and I'm so excited for the sequel; The Devil's Rejects. The blood and laughter, though, come from Baby, in House. (Totally fantasy material!)
