Im thinking my water pump?

Post by irishsetter »

I have some coolant issues. I am not over heating but upon start up coolant trickle down from the top of the lower radiator hose where it goes to the engine. There are two small hoses on one side and one small hose on the other. They all seem to be fine. I can not see where it is coming from is this the water pump location? Is there a weep hole for when the pump bearings go? Can anybody help?

Yes there's a weep hole for when the bearing seal is compromised. Probably is your water pump.

Not bad. Do the timing belt and cam seals possibly at the same time. There are plenty of threads on it and your luckily in a warm climate. I'd say an afternoon first time.

irishsetter, if push comes to shove, bring it down to Orlando and I'll be more than happy to help you. Only about a 2 hour drive.
