When I thought my hatred for VWs could get no greater ...
Man, I'd like to track that dumb ass pussy-car driving assmonkey myself and make them disappear. They deserve it on several counts - one being bad taste.
Still, looks like the Subaru saved your life. I bet it would yard drive if you ripped the fender off the flat tire. A moment of silence for another fallen warrior.
The euro-trash shit box looks like it was hit by a Tomahawk. I love the garbage suspension in effect by how skewed the driver's rear is. Torsion bars ... oh, yeah, they're great cars.
Good ridance to it.

Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

It was a good thing the VW didn't have a passenger.

Sorry to hear about the car, you should be able to find another Legacy for your swap. Actually you could probably find an impreza L for about the same. Rancid seems to be the darling of that forum, I guess these boards would be boring without e-though guys

Whoa, down boy. It wasnt the VW's fault, it was the drivers.
Pretty amazing to see a new car like that dicinagrate though. Its really good to hear that both of you are OK, although it usually takes a couple days for the soreness to kick in. Really sorry this happened to you man. Id buy ya a beer.

My accident was kinda like yours blueslsti2004, but I was hit after the two cars danced in the intersection (in my mom's protege luckily)
Afterwards, I was the only one not in too much shock to call 911 and take care of the unconscious lady in the passenger seat of the stratus. Nothin like a 45mph side impact from a 6,000 pound F-250. It Convinced my mom to trade in her Protege and get an 05 Legacy 2.5i Limited with SIDE AIRBAGS.The Stratus then spun and hit a Mazda in the southbound turn lane of NW 39th Avenue driven by Andrew Piazza of Gainesville.
Anyways, sorry to hijack
Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Those pics don't look good
Andrew

Holy crap!!! I saw those pics... I agree that it's really lucky that the VW didn't have a passenger. Holy shit. That's quite the crash.
Also really glad to hear that you two both walked away from it, tickets or no. I mean, better to be ticketed and alive than dead, right? Right.
Yeah, it still sucks, but yer still here. See court, untangle mess, build new Legacy. Bling.

You really shouldn't talk shit about guys you don't know or boards you have no experience with. FYI, AWD pirates was created because the ClubWRX.net moderators were freaking Nazis who regulated the shit out of the Mountain states forum. Mountain States really was just dedicated to off topic drivel and post whoring and a real sense of local community.. AWDpirates, while ground Zero for Colorado Subaru tuners, was primarily created as a post whore site where we could talk shit and fuck around. If you read around the site, most everyone posts just like Ian happened to be posting in Jon's thread. Sorry to go off, but those comments just were ignorant and uncalled for and sidetracked Jon's thread. AWD pirates has no intention of being a NASIOC or a Legacy Central.G-reg wrote: Rancid seems to be the darling of that forum, I guess these boards would be boring without e-though guys
Jon,
Sorry to hear about the accident. I've got a '93 Legacy turbo wagon chassis with your name on it for cheap for your rebuild effort. Get in touch.

My apologies, but saying glad your alive but you shouldn’t have bought parts for an old Legacy is not helping the guy. I was browsing the Impreza forums right before responding and was soured by people bagging on others. But again, I apologize for taking it out of context. And again I’m sorry about your car, but keep faith. I’ve found these things work out for the best in the long run.

I want to apologize for being so harsh myself. Your post caught me in a cranky moment and I just kind of went off. Sorry about that...

No, I mentioned how I think the Subaru could still yard drive and the VW looks like it was hit by a Tomahawk (the missile, not the hunting and fighting implement of my ancestors).
