Steering Column Cover Compatibility

Post by Subaru_Nation555 »

I am buying a boost gauge from a WRX owner. He is sending me the gauge along with the plastic steering column top cover since it is already drilled. I was wondering if one from a WRX will fit my Legacy. I know they both have the slot for the parking light switch. Any thoughts?

My educated guess is that it won't fit. My reason for saying this, I had to get a new lower steering column cover (long story) and went to a junkyard to go looking. It seemed that every Legacy I found had a different one. I know that my friend and I counted at least 3 different kinds off of various 90-94's. I went with the one that looked the best and I still had to do some changes to it so that makes 4 different kinds. Good luck though and let us know what you find out.

That's what I'm going to eventually do, but one on each side and integrated more.

Yes I did Jake and like it says it has very interesting history & a very ironic one as well. I pretty sure I gave you the details on the last car, well that block (80k) is going into a cream puff one owner '91 winestone + I'll have a spare block to toy with. I should have the car delivered today. I haven't seen it , had my dad< great guy, and a best friend verify it when they were at the dealer at the same time.

I'm thinking of letting it sit in the garage for while, do some research and maybe the 2.35 thing & stroke the hell out of it, drop it in the rex when it finally goes bye bye. or maybe get a pilots license and put it in a Cesna or something
