Question for electrical gurus

Post by J-MoNeY »

Where are the bolts to take down the light and sunroof apparatus above the shifter? It looks to me like I pop out the little lights and maybe they were there, but I thought I'd ask to see if you guys know.

This has been done. See below for new question!

are you talkin about the sunroof control panel/ map lights? if you are, you just take off the light covers, and there should be 2 screws beneath those, then there is a plug and it comes off, i can post pictures of where the where the screws are if you are having a hard time figuring it out.

I've checked all the fuses as well as running a test light to the sunroof connection while the car was on and it shows "not hot" on any of the connectors. I was wondering if there is a relay or swich or something in the system. I've been looking at wiring diagrams from the PDFs that the guy scanned for the site and found nothing. Please help ASAP.

There should be one fuse for the interior lights although I dont know which one it is. There should be one lead that is 12 volts all the time and then the switch is grounded to turn on... the fuse will be one in your in-car fuse panel, not under-hood one

:-?

I don't get where your going with this.

There is a hot lead comming into the map light connection, but it looks like that the map light is on a seperate power source.
