Would these rims fit my car?? 93 legacy

Post by l4gacy »

I was looking at these rims, and was wondering if they would fit my car. I am inexperieneced when it comes to this, I am just concerned about the offsets.

Wow, those are some bling wheels.

It doesn't mention offset, so you would need to call and ask.

The biggest one of those wheels you can probably get away with is the 17x7.5's and they would need to be a +48 offset. Do you have stock suspension? You might rub the strut with anything lower, and the fender with anything higher.

I just want to make you aware that chrome wheels usually do not hold up well at all and look like ass within a couple years. They don't chrome things like they used to.

Don't let the guys get you, we're pretty traditional around here for the most part :). I'm curious as to what they'd look like ..... just follow Phils advice on offset and rim width and you should be fine. Welcome to the BBS too.

I think that's too much bling for a 93 legacy. Lexani and Subaru just can't be friends, like the eletrical outlet and Mr. Fork.

call me crazy, but bc/bf legacy and the term baller is creating some cognitive dissonance for me.

look at your car, its not a lexus dude. this isnt MTV, this is the real world, where your wheel choices have grave ramifications.

think long and hard my friend.

hahahahahaha, you just dont understand my madness yet mate. just because i am in favor of certain styling cues on vws does not mean that i try to cram that square peg in a round hole with my subaru.

considering my fanancial status right now, the legacy is going to be stock for quite some time.

A1) I hate "will it fit" questions. Do the math, what's it tell you?
A2) RTFM.
B) Back on topic or lockdown.

I am new to this forum but in love with my leg wag...its a 93 as well. I say that the only way to enjoy those rims on your car is with photoshop. In that case I think even the 20's would fit

As for if they will fit? I dunno, they do not give enough specs to tell. Other than that, I have to say that I'm in the "they just do not fit the style of the car" camp, myself. They are far too gaudy and make the rest of the car look cheap in comparison. It is possable that you could spend a lot of money and make the rest of the car look like it belonged with these wheels, but for that kind of cash you could buy a new 05 GT instead. . . On my '92 the only not available as stock upgrades I have done are the towing hitch (at least most car companies do not sell the hitch itself), and the "deflector" airfoil I put on top of my liftgate to send air down into the backdraft area and reduce drag a bit. The alloy wheels I have are from an LS, and I like them a lot. nothing like the ones you posted the link to. Far more understated, which can have a much better effect overall.
1992 Legacy L Wagon 'Emily" Ice Blue, plush seats, roof rack, towing hitch, upgraded radio/CD player, LS alloy wheels, and lots of love! 180K miles and going very strong!
You will get my Legacy from me when you pry my cold dead fingers from the wheel.

I really doubt those wheels are available in the correct offset. And, I'm sure that when you ask, they'll say all you need are some spacers.
