Absolutely gorgeous! That is an amazing looking vehicle. I thought it was going to look a lot like the Accord, but it's definitely a Suby. Now, if only I could stir up about 30K

180 Kw = 242 hp
340 NM = 250 ft*lbs.

Converter here
http://www.digitaldutch.com/unitconverter

hp under Power tab
torque under Energy tab

1 NM = 0.737563 ft*lbs.
1 ft.*lbs. = 1.355817
1 KW = 1.340483 hp
1 hp = .746 KW

That's approximately 241 hp & 251 lb/ft of torque! That thing would be a beast!

OUR STi engine or THEIR STi engine. US is the only market with the 300/300 2.5T right now. But, they will eventually put that engine into everything... including the new turbocharged Baja, Outback, and Legacy. Of course they won't be tuned to pull 300/300.

I can't wait to buy one of the new Legacy EJ25T's in about.... 2016. Unless I start making some money by then...

Which one is the new

Is the new Legacy the Touring Wagon or the B4 or both? I like both but I prefer the B4 sedan. When will it be offered here in the states?

The us market will receive the 2.5 liter turbo.

The skin/exterior will be the same, but expect engine models & some trim changes.

We will probably see this hit the states in mid-late 04

All right, I'm sold. There is no other car in the world right now that I desire more than the new Legacy. It is perfect. If I can snag a turbo one, then I will have a fast car that I can use everyday without spending big bucks on old worn-out parts. I will give it one year for the "new car bugs" to be worked out, and then I will be purchasing one of these.

Now before everyone bashes me, I could still keep my BC if finances and space allow. By the time I can afford this new car (no less than 2 years) then my car will be worth about $500, not even worth selling IMO...

Continuing the other discussions, I disagree with the dislike of the Baja Turbo. That shows me that Subaru remembers the Brat and the Brat Turbo and is reflecting on their past while looking forward.

It and the Forester Turbo will receive the EJ25T in the form of 210 hp and 235 lb-ft. Not supercar material, but with a little massaging, it could easily take a stock WRX...

The new Legacy is a nice car, but I don't know about perfect... I mean can we honestly say it's better than a 03 Cobra, Z06, M3... etc.

Money aside.....your statement holds true about the other cars ;)

However considering the money issue, it puts most of those cars out of our price range, and utility range for an every day car.

I'm not condoning the new legacy is perfect......it's really good.....but probably not perfect ;)

I'm assuming that the fully loaded new Legacy will be pretty close to an 03 Cobra or Mach 1, but probably not in the range of a Z06 or M3. It all comes down to personal preference in the end... :D

Okay, I don't want to start an argument here, but here's why I feel the cars you named aren't perfect...

The 03 Cobra is a sick car. 1/4 mile in the 12's, almost 400 supercharged HP, wow. But its handling is less than perfect. Any RWD car with 400HP has to be a beast in corners except for a race-car driver. Its backseat is entirely unuseable, and its gas mileage has to suck. Besides, I hear tell that the ole 4.6 V8 can't take that much blower boost and they're smoking engines frequently...

A Z06. Same thing, beautiful car. That and the new CTS V-series are the only two GM products registering on my radar. But although it can run circles around the Cobra in the turns, it has an even less useable back seat, a non-existant one...

An M3. Very nice car, but they're actually not much faster than the old E30 M3 with the 2.3L 200hp 4-cyl. And as my friend can tell you, a BMW is one of the most expensive cars to own that you could ever have.

If it isn't obvious now, a perfect car to me is not only a blast to drive, but is a practical car to use everyday. I just love the thought of smoking a twice-as-expensive car on the way to work, carving corners on the way home, getting 20mpg while doing it, and taking a gang of hot lil' ladies out for a night on the town ;) , all in the same car.

As I said, it comes down to personal preference. To me a back seat is not a plus, and anyone who buys a Z06 or a Cobra is probably not concerned with the comfort of any passengers. As for the 03 Cobra, I can't really think of another car that with a pulley and intake/exhaust can put down close to 500HP. Also, I should've mentioned the 350Z, a really really nice car that handles good, and you can get for $28K....

You're right, none of the cars I named are perfect, but then what car is?
