I'm hoping I can get the rear quarter painted and the headlights finally aligned properly light-wise and body-wise (waiting for some adjuster clips) in time. Exhaust will still sound horrible.

Oh, don't forget, Roman is going to run the fish-car (SHO).
Well, 29 cars is just a meet BUT 30 cars, well, now that's a whole nother ball game my friend! It means we are UBER legit. Or some crap like that.
Steve- My car is far from 100% either, just get your butt down here and I'll be happy.

Sam- Now you gotta wear some MC Hammer pants to the meet!
If everyone shows up it looks like we could get almost 10 BC/BF turbos there! That'd be awesome!

Two things:
1. When is everyone going to be at the racetrack?
2. I need directions there again as I can't find my old ones and the ones on the internet usually send you on the shady cab driver's route.
Damn bodywork won't be done, but at least the rear quarter should be flat black and the grill won't be painted either. That with the exhaust leak is going to make me look a little ricey. No turbo engine yet either, but another friend (who hopefully won't be MIA) will let me use his truck to get the parts car the week after F & S. I'll be towing the POS with a black Escalade with chrome 22"s, I shit you not. He does custom interiors with some clients in the Patriots.

We'll be getting there between 9:30-10:00 am.
I don't know what to tell you about directions Steve. MapQuest is probably your best bet but here's my take on it.
Take I-95 south to I-80 west to RT 15 S. Then I think you take 522 west to BeaverSprings PA. In BeaverSprings you take a right onto RT 235 N. It'll be a few miles up that rd.
Here's a little map.

Just the other night I found a killer dirt road that we can maybe play on Friday night or Saturday after the F&S. It's about 3-4 miles long with no cross roads or driveways! It's really smooth too. It's pretty curvy with a couple pretty nice straights. I had the fam with me when I found it so I was drving real safe but I bet we could get in all sorts of trouble on it.

I better bring my RE92's. I can't even drive in wet grass with my current wheel/tire setup.
I wish my friend could bring his WRX. Should be making almost 600 to the wheels w/o spray.
Dug-E-Fresh is running 11.3's, so that'll be cool. I wish I could bring the bike. I'd be running high to mid 11's on it.

Phil, you talking about the one you did work on? (not Doug-E-Fresh's) I want to see that car sometime, get him to come to the shoot out.
Question about tomorrow night, it should probably be in the BBQ thread but whats the deal with it all? Where? When? etc.

My house, hangin out wrenching, anytime of day really, at about 7pm, Mongolian BBQ, the rest of the night at my house wrenchin', hangin', going for rides or whatever.
Are you coming to the BBQ now? LMK and I'll PM you my address.
I can't wait! I'm getting stoked. On the way home from work tonight the car was pulling a bit better then it has been and I didn't hit FC. It's a lot cooler then it has been, which is making me wonder if my FC problem is heat related. I bet my Saab TMIC just isn't cutting it.

yeah I'm planning on attending, looking forward to meeting the rest of the guys, and eating, and figuring out my way around these cars a little more
I doubt there is anything tool related or otherwise you guys don't have but if there is anything needed tell me.
side note: Teddy has family coming so he can't make it, I told him there is always next year (he'll have his GTi modded by then) he's bummed

Tomorrow at this time we'll be shoveling eggs and hashbrowns down our throats and talking so much pre race shit we'll be swimming in it (especially from me and Phil)!
Weather report for Saturday, June 18th: High 72 (fuck ya, my car runs better when it's cool) with a 30% chance of AM scattered showers (like overnight AM). Then dry and mostly cloudy.
Weeza gonna be racing!

Hey all, this was a fun event and I had a wonderful time. It was great to meet everyone that was there from Legacy Central and you all were laying down some impressive numbers!
Pretty good turnout with a bunch of first-gen Legacy’s, several WRX’s, a couple SVX's, a Forester, and an STI out of the suby group.
The weather was nice, not too hot and the humidity was low. The track was okay, a little slick at the starting gate but overall not bad. The best part was a very short wait to race!
My top 3 best slips:
R/T - .065
60ft - 1.93
1/4 - 13.8 @ 98.6
R/T - .213
60ft - 2.01
1/4 - 13.9 @ 99.4
R/T - .022

60ft - 1.93
1/4 - 13.9 @ 98.3
Here’s a little vid of my two best runs…
Not bad for a Legacy…!
PS: Who’s got some video from the stands, I saw a couple video-cameras up there recording the action?
