So today I did the snorkus delete. I wanted to let everyone know that I dids it a way that I havent seen on here yet. When I get the white lower air box off and took out the double black air feed suction piece, I used a dremel or sawzall and chopped it in half and re inserted it into the fender wall. Esentially that piece has a perfect rubber seal that connects into the black air box, so there was no need to use any pvc pieces. I'll get pics up soon of the mod, I think everyone will like it and it is totally free! I'll be returning my home depot pvc fittings tomorrow. Also, I have an idea for the coffee cup mod which I am tackling this weekend, so I'll have photos up of that as well. Let me know if anyone has questions. I bought an intake drill and vaccume line connector set from autozone, a sillicone 2.5 to 3in piece and am going to be getting just a straight piece on 3in pvc from home depot to drill for the vaccume lines.

Swapped grills back to the correct cars, took the gold star badge from the sedans grill though, also finished restoring the stock headlights from the wagon and got those back on. I didn't know, untill yesterday, that my wagon came with 100/65w headlight bulbs. Bonus!! For those that are wondering, the gold front badge was on a '93 LSI wagon with the 25th anniversary edition sticker in the right rear window. I don't know if the 25th ann edition makes a difference or not but thats what I got the gold star badge from. Heres a picture of said badge.

Man, I dont think I've ever seen the gold stars
before. Pretty sweet. Would have looked good
on my RS as it was already utilizing those colors ;)

I wonder if someone painted it because there are only two part #'s for the badges on the 92-94 Legacies.

91053AA070
91053AA090 - SIA LSI

That's the only comments/notes in the parts book....so maybe it was a super special badge or someone may have painted it.

Well, you could tell by the back side of the
badge...if it's all painted over. And I guess
you could use chrome paint, but that looks
pretty legitimate and I've seen the gold
lettering on some Subaru's before so I guess
maybe they did do the 25th Anniversary one
as special :D

The gold was definatly done at the factory. I've seen other factory done gold star front badges and this is almost the same color, and the background color is the same as the front badge that was on my wagon.

Bought a 95 impreza coupe with a hail damaged hood, swapped the headlights to 98-01 headlights and swapped the hood to a 2.5rs hood from the local junkyard, replaced the old alternator, put the battery on the charger, put my spare rims on it, started to clean the engine bay and the interior. Going to find a 2.5rs front bumper assembly.

SS got ral armor mud flaps, retinted the tail lights, new stereo, amp/sub.

Yesterday I shampooed the carpet and seats. Then cleaned the dash, console, and door panels.

Seriously? You found an RS in the junk yard?
And the 99-01 were the crystal front headlights.
The 98's were the fluted lenses.

Looks awesome! I've been dying to pick up an SJR kit but I'm intimidated by all the little bits and pieces. How much was your kit if you don't mind me asking?

Just over $900 after taxes. If I was going to do it all over again I would do the 4" instead of the 6". Cheaper and there is less items that need to be modified. I wouldn't worry too much about the bits and pieces, it's not that complicated. I got mine installed without even reading the instructions.

Thanks for the info. What did you do to modify the steering shaft?

I finally got around to changing the drivers side seatbelt. It seemed much easier than the passenger side.

I went back for more parts it was a 2000, here in colorado there's always something in the yards, friend David striped two SS's at the same yard, found a complete rs bumper locally aswell just need to get more money.

Had a bit of a heart sinking moment when I moved my sedan. In the probably five minutes it was running the temperature gauge was almost to the top... I have no clue why it said the car was over heating, the intake mainfold was hardly warm to the touch. I think my sedan is pissed at me cause I got my wagon and the wagon is getting all the attention. Any input as to why the gauge shot up would be great.

Dang...lucky. I wish I could find some cause I'm looking
for seats. I got a bunch of RS parts left over that I need
to sell. Tail lights, headlights, a 3 point rear strut bar...just
random stuff. I'd love to be able to find some SS's though.

Cut it in half and sleeved it with a 4" piece of tubing. The shift linkage was also modified. That required solid rod since the shift linkage is hollow and an "S" bend to the shift rod but not the stay.

I also need to do my seatbelts but may just switch to 5 points in the front.

There are two different temp sensors, one for the ECU, and one for the dash. The dash sensor is just a single wire sensor. Check to see if the connector is corroded. Try removing the connector and see if the dash needle pegs again. If it does, then I'd think the connector is corroded, the sensor is bad, or there's a wiring issue somewhere.

After more than 3 years of collecting parts on no budget whatsoever, finally got my TD04 and AWIC installed. Still need to hook up the hoses for my pump and heat exchanger, but it's all there and the hood closes with the stock splitter :D
