Looks really good. That's the front end that I have, so of course I like it better than the other ones. I hate how yellow our headlights get. I cleared mine over the winter, and one of them needs it again. I can't wait to do a retrofit on this car. Yellowed fluted plastic will be gone.

Yeah, you can see through the other pictures, but
man...turned out good

You kept the bumper and
made it pretty freakin close. Impressive.
Retrofit from what?

Finally got the new suspension in the leggy, eibach springs on 04' STI struts with 1/2" butt spacers in the rear. Its pretty much the perfect stance!

put an MSD coil on a bracket where the AC compressor would go. Also grabbed MSD custom wires. Such a PIA to make! Car seems to rev faster and has more power off boost. Was it the coil, or was it the fact that I swapped out old ass plugwires and coilpack for fresh ones? Either way I'm happy.

Got a replacement crank pully and key from the junkyard today, from a '95 L. Get home and the timing gear took two hours to ger off and it broke during the process. Great. Now I gotta go back tomorrow and get that too, and I had it in my hand but figured I could use mine again. I had to use a dremel and cut the key up on my sedan, and that wasn't the hard part. It seemed like the timing gear was epoxied to the crank considering that I had to use wedges to take it off. What a pain in the ass.

I like diesel's wagon. I like the wheels a lot but it would look better if the front were lower.

I picked up another Legacy last night. It's a 91 NA Wagon. Fully loaded, sunroof, power everything, it could be nice. But there were dogs in this car something fierce. Interior is all chewed up, smells like nasty wet dog. It needs a deep cleaning for sure. I might actually swap the whole interior out of my turbo wagon into this one. Mechanically I'm thinking a rear diff and a clutch, front seatbelts need replacing too. Definitely some new struts toward the top of the list, it's like driving on a waterbed.
Anyone have good luck with the Raceland coilovers. I know their stigma over on NASIOC, but something cheap is what I'm looking for. I'd like to lower the stance a bit and make it look good.

Changed oil/fuel filter/air filter.. Maybe swapping out my current power steering pump soon. Basic stuff I'm getting out of the way before a decent trek out of state in the wagon-- Performed admirably hauling my mattress and canoe the other day.
Also, cleannnnned out the car.

Sarted prep work on the hood of the 90 and would show pics but photobucket is being dumb. Tired of looking at the peeling clear coat so I am painting the hood, roof, and the trunck black to give it that tuner/track look. On the trunck I am going to give it the SVX two tone look.
