Replaced my lift gate handle with a much less rusty one from an Outback. Also "repaired" the lower interior panel of the lift gate, as it had a huge crack in it. I actually got the idea from guys who intentionally cut their bumpers then zip tie them together for show :roll:

-cj91legss, do you plan on doing a write-up on what you did for the front end swap? I'm setting a goal for myself to do this, this summer.
-Could I also get some more shots of your car from the side, like around where the fender meets the door?

FINALLY found a 1sr Gen shell in a JY down here! Got myself all the trim and the liner for pass fender, which has been bare since I replaced it 5 years ago.

I was wondering why you changed from the specture intake back to desnorked air box? Is thete any diffetence? Is it better? I feed my intake air from my lower grille with a dryer tube(ghetto style) .i also haveba ok heat shield built but it dosnt box off the cone the tops still open. My question i guess is if i box my intake in at the hole in the fender and do the coffe mug mod will that be good or should i just put the desnorked box back in and do the mod? And the air box opening to the fender well hole is only like 2" as the cone allows the MAF to breath 3" of air should i open the hole in the box some? I meant to post to the thred not pm you alexandermf. New to the bbs amd android internet sucks

-Been having a CEL on, code 41, and cant figure out why. Came up on a spare o2 sensor to swap to see if it might be the issue. The plug heads were different sizes so wasn't able to rule out the o2 yet. Ruled out the MAF by swapping it with one that I knew worked so cant be that. Out of this, I didn't know our cars would run without an o2 sensor, weird!

picked apart a 92 winestone SS for trim and headliner WOO! got a nice supple intake elbow out of the deal and corners, headlights, visors, and some other stuff all for $100!

- I know what it is, A/F learning control, faulty learning control function. What I don't know is how to get it fixed. So I just started with the basics, MAF and o2 sensor, so yea like you said, process of elimination. If you have any ideas, I would be more than happy to hear them. Thanks.

I took my intake cone and heatshield off last night and put the stock desnorked air box back on. I also ran into some bad pcv lines and oil lines. Also some vac leaks hopefully have enough $ this weekend to get new clamps and hoses . Gonna finish taking my A/c system out,, Anyone done this recently? Maybe tell me how to pull the condenser radiator thing,,, infront of the actual radiator. . I was also wondering if a 90 l metal MAF is the same as the stock ss one. I am using one now but cant tell if it helped as i have vac leaks..... Image .. Image. ..... Image....... Image

Dylan-yes its the same I'm using a 90l metal maf on mine, they came on the manuals. Also I would reduce that dryer tube from your foglight opening to the box because depending on where you live, getting water up in there's is a bbaaaaddd idea. Mine maybe is 8" coming into the fender, not all the way down to opening

I also have the code 41 .. 21...22....31... try testing your ecM.... Its controls the AFR readings or somthing like that

Me either but i looked up code 41 in the leggy book it said lean mix...... AFr.....goto chapter 4 the only thing i found for AFR or related was a section i about the ecM idk ill read it all on lunch qnd get back to you.

Thanks alex. And i am gonna completely get rid of ithe tube completly cuz after a month of using it with my bright red cone . It is now half black and half tinge red. ...
