Installed a Deatschwerks DW300 fuel pump today.. Was a good deal, future proofed my fuel pump. Installed pretty easy, is a tiny bit noisier than stock one was.

I've noticed aftermarket fuel pumps are loud. My walbro isnt loud in the car but outside the car I can definitely hear it whine.

Did you open the throttle while you were cranking? Did you have all 4 plugs out?

I see a combination of three or four things making your numbers low:

1. Throttle closed
2. Other plugs in, lowering cranking speed
3. Elevation makes a big difference, you are in Colorado
4. Maybe a little worn out engine. Although if all 4 were pretty even that's not as likely.

Yes throttle open and did each one at once. Altitude is quite high up here and im sure its been used/worn over its life

I finished the DCCDPro controls, put steering column & wheel back on, and installed a new head unit in the Impreza.

Here are pics from the DCCDPro installation

Yesterday: Found a fixed a short with some old forgotten project's wiring - had to remove turbo timer, bass remote turn-on, couple old unused forgotten project wire. Reset ECU, fixed all my stumbling issues!

Came back, then spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, grounding mod (strut towers, coil pack, fuse box) - car running smoother and pulling harder on stock boost than ever before!

Today: Re-wired a nice, clean remote turn-on wire for my bass amp, removed even more forgotten wiring, wired up a 12V lighter adapter dedicated to power my old old Fujitsu diagnostic laptop that is running Vikash's old B10 scan tool on the parallel port. This laptop is probably as old as the car, and I'm as surprised as anyone that it still worked when I pulled it out from under my seat where it had sat forgotten for 8-9 years now. It is now under the passenger seat with the wiring kit that allows a lighter-powered portable scan tool. Gonna wire up the serial port as well so I can try out RevScan and EvoScan here on a newer laptop in the near future. Awesome!

Took a photo of the old laptop showing my ECU ID but it's taking forever to upload and Chris Need Sleep Badly so maybe later.

Edit: Later = now

Nope, nope, and nope. That's normal numbers for a Subaru up here. An STi in perfect shape with a 30k mile OEM engine made 90# in all cylinders last week in the shop.

Hi everybody! :)

Shifter u joint bushings, new (to me) front hubs, installed half shafts, battery, exhaust mani bushings, finished installing the 5mt trans mount, new bolt for my fsb endlink mine was missing lol, started fabbing up a patch for my Y pipe rusted through the hard mount weld points. Started her up for the first time in about a year, ran good for not moving under her own power for 3 years. Needs an oil change, exhaust install, center console installed, full tank of gas, and a pass fender and she's almost done for my gf! Fwd L sedan resurrected from the dead lol!

Push it and it unlocks the shifter for those times you don't have power or want to put it in neutral with out pushing the brake pedal.

Hey that used to be my MBC! Haha glad you got some stuff. I wish I could buy the motor off that leggy he's parting out. I got the intercooler and the coffee cup mod. :D

So my oil filler cap came off... I dont know how. Maybe I just forgot to put it back on last night when I topped the oil??? I dont think I would forget. But maybe. Anyways it puked oil until I relized smoke was coming out of my scoop. I left it running, pulled over and it's just spraying oil. Made a big mess. Thankfully it didnt catch fire or something...

I like the badge but I wish you can display more mileage than a measly 200k. I don't even own an auto with less than 350k and the highest knocking on 700k, and that's the one I want the badge for.

Vacuum line from nipple on turbo outlet through the MBC and back to the nipple on the wastegate. Arrows on MBC point to line going to wastegate.
