I had several friends on hand when doing this job... the point of the vacuum pump was to allow us to not worry about priming all the components (I had almost no brake fluid in the car at all when I began) and to allow me to use speed bleeders.

yeah....I didn't prime my stuff either......I think there's ways around it.....but vacuum pump was cool
