Ej20G w/Ej22T head is interference, learned the hard way...

i dont get this, why would you put ej22t heads on the wrx block. i keep reading on this fourm that ej22t heads are shit.

We built it because I had sold both my Ej22T block and my Ej20G heads. We had the spare parts sitting around and thought it would be a fun build. Other folks have been using the Ej20 bottom end while they build up or rebuild their EJ22T bottom ends. At 9:1 CR and around 10 non-intercooled psi, you've got a nice little 200hp motor for about $500-600...
