The fact that you contribute sometimes doesn't mean it's okay to muddy up other threads with nonsense. Like I've already said to you in another thread, there's a whole separate forum for that stuff.

go ahead and define nonsense for me because that sounds more like personal opinion than fact.vrg3 wrote:The fact that you contribute sometimes doesn't mean it's okay to muddy up other threads with nonsense. OKAY!!! STOP!!!
EVERYBODY!!!
Before this gets out of hand.
I dont think anyone is harming anything.
NTM that this was my thread!
Now, okay, sometimes threads go off topic, it happens. Big friggin deal.
They always end up back on track.

Okay, so 1 week after instalation review.
Its really nice to not have the graunchy first gear, everything seems to be in working order... SO cool.
And my tranny mixture is working great for me...
HOWEVER
Andy said it didnt do anything for his tranny... He has a 4.11 NA 5mt. We are also sure that his synchros are TOTALLY destroyed.
My hypothesis? That the noticable effects are all dependent upon the previous type of oil used!
I dont honestly know what was used in my transmission prior to this swap. My guess is some chevron gear oil with a Lucas Additive knowing my Dad and Grandpa.
SO this cocktail was a huge improvement... FOR ME!
That said, take it into consideration. But mine is still working great.

All I'm going to ask you two is to be more discerning with your posts. There's a difference between contributing to posts, and posting a couple word responses back and forth. This isn't instant messanger, so please try and refrain from doing that, at least in the technical forums.
Thanks
