Yeah you either need to intercool that thing or find a bunch of 90* silicon couplers and fab something up.
Don't try using a straight piece of something and just bending it. It'll kink and you'll lose an assload of power.

Yap, SAdly Already found that out....
Where can i find some nice 90 silcon elbows that fit nice and snug on that turbo, in Canada....

Zach showed me this awhile ago:
http://www.siliconeintakes.com/
Measure the outer diameter of the throttle body and the outer diameter of the turbo outlet. Then find a way to reduce the size from the TB to turbo outlet.

The outlet on the TD04 is 1 7/8" none of those would work, or would they?

You could stretch a 1 3/4" over it.

With the silcone, its be hard in that tight space but it would be alot more air tight

Yeah. I suppose you could use a 2" ID hose and just clamp the hell out of it.

ya get some fatty T-Bolt clamps and
ID= inner diameter
so a 2" ID hose= some kind of hose with an inner diameter of 2"

Okay, SOunds good, something like rad Hose?

dont use radiator hose.
go to
www.siliconintakes.com and get what you need there.
i dont think you will need anything though... b/c you have the td04 remember?
your Y pipe should just plug onto the turbo intake outlet
i spent $65 on radiator hose(s) and none of them ended up working.

Subaru Nation, Your right
Ive already wasted money on piping that lying around in the garage, ill get meself an IC with stock y-pipe and elbbow and see how she goes, if it bolted right in, id shit my pants

ha ha don't post pictures of that though
it honestly should just go right in,
the only thing you'll need to do is move the ignition wires
and after that make a channel for the air to flow onto the intercooler.
i just did this on friday with some mean camper foam and some fiberboard.

Ya right now i just have the Old Channel removed, ill figure something out later, but the intercooler should still function with that dinky scoop
