Man, that looks perfect But yeah, your painting
skills could use some work. Did you paint on a
humid day?

What did you use to connect the pieces? And how
did you make such a perfect centerline cut?

To attach the two parts I used a small length of abs pipe 1-1/2" and 2 small screws
The cut is far from perfect you can't see it with the bondo covering the gap
I only had an old can of spray paint to use and it was not mixing well. Also the hottest summer ever didn't help.

Yes the rack makes the wing useless

It need more material to attach it solidly to the hatch then I will sand, fill and repaint it. I just need to find the time as I need to do other things first.

It's good enough for a mock-up anyway.
I'm sure you'll inspire some people on
