Ok....let's get back on topic.

So for those that have done this mod or swapped an Impreza spoiler on....did you see an improvement in wiping at higher speeds?

I did this on my gc8, got wiper right from Subaru oem. What I noticed was nothing same problem.....

Then a new product came out rain x washer fluid it was the yellow stuff. I used that stuff all the time and to this day i still use it. Now at 120km I need to use no wipers how good it is.

Buy a PIAA super silicone wiper blade. Run it dry for 5 minutes and it will automatically do what
Rain-X does, but a bit better and it lasts a lot longer and when it stops doing it run it again. It's
pretty awesome :D

So I did this over the weekend. It helps, but I think I want one from an RS and a new
driver wiper cause the way the rivets are you have to cut lower in the wiper arm.
The RS is the same way, but it's cantilevered off so it provides more downforce.

After installing the arm I don't get wiper skip anymore. Nice and smooth at highway speeds.

I do like the piaa idea thou. Anything to help see in the middle of the country with no street lights helps every bit.

Is it only on the driver's wiper? How come it's not on both?

You can put it on both i suppose but it's usually just the driver that benefits from being able to see out the windshield :D

lol I doubt I'll try it out since I'm sure it's hard enough to find one. I know the junkyard down south has at least one 2.5RS but I loath going to that horrible place. Rudest people ever and they don't generally allow you on the yard. You go in there and pay premium (5X or more) prices so you can sit around all day and wait for their slow ass yard guys to go pull parts for you. Last time it was like 2 hours for a rear diff they promised was LSD and it wasn't and they wanted $175 for it anyways.

IF was tough enough finding a wiper spoiler for my jetta, let alone for the legacy now lol. I like the part hunts though, makes it fun and worthwhile when you do get the part :)

I have a great speed limiter in my car...Bent wheels. Can't go over 140kph or the car will shake itself to death lol.

How's it do at low speeds?

Oh it's fine at any speed lower than that. Or on gravel roads, don't notice it on gravel roads haha.
