Actually they are on all newer vws I just looked them up.
They have an issue with a fuse and lead melting tho. Mines melted at that one as well so I didn't use it. I assume the rest are fine. we will see.

Still a great for a power distribution block. At least you know our cars don't have that problem.
Hell I used vw battery terminals on my white wagon because of the 4 extra holes to run extra wiring. I liked them.
I went thru the whole process of heating them and soldering my cables to them with a torch.

Yeah I was wondering if it was a VW issue or an issue with the block it's self. But I'm super happy how every thing turned out its perfect and so clean. I'm thinking of getting another one for my grounding wires.

If you are concerned at all, just keep an eye on the fusible link in the fuse block under the hood.

Got the gate on my '91 wagon-only the rod for the handle is the wrong length/bent? Need to do a few small things to her before (I hope) to get her up to maine where a person is looking for a car that runs but is not road worthy.

Thanks it took a lot of custom fab work to get it to mount and fit properly. Then I broke my masterpiece of a grill three weeks after I got it all done and purty.

Does that led bar give a lot of distance or is it more of a short range light? I really like that idea.

They were a 4" brick work light with 6 leds in the fog holes. Wishing I woulda got spots now tho. They're just fill light..
The bar in the grill is for distance light.

This is only my high beams and 20" LED bar in the grill

I bought an LED light bar today too. For my girlfriends '08 impreza. It's a 32" curved bar. It should fit right under the main bumper beam.
