A/c removed, well almost. I took everything out from under the hood and taped the two lines from the cabin closed for now. There wasn't any charge in the system, the condenser was bent, the compresse made some rattling noises when it was engaged, and I never used the a/c. Its always been roll the rear windows down a little and turn the fan on to two and set to "vent". I also used Turtle Wax Color Magic Car Polish on the left rear door, quarter panel, and part of the rear bumper. All I can say about that stuff is WOW!! It makes 18 year old paint shine quite well and took ALOT of the small scratches out, it didn't help the over spray from me painting the door handles though but that was my own stupidity that caused that... Heres a picture of after being polished. Note the shine under the blinker area, thats treated along with the side of the car, the ret of the bumper hasn't been treated..... yet.

And heres the engine bay after the a/c junk was removed but before I taped the cabin holes.

Found out my o2 sensor is bad. So thats been the cause of my car almost dying after three different right turns, the first time that happened I didn't know what was going wrong but I finally got to pulling the code today. Sunday I plan on taking the sensor out to see if I can clean it and if not I'll price one from the junk yard and see if theres any >200k legacies there, if not its a new one.

lol, oh that

. that was from one of the first CAI i designed. i had a intake funnel connected there to act as a air ram and then i got wiser. thanks for the commnt
on another note i tackeled the shifter linkage.

what a piece of cake. despite the age it was really easy but it mght be in part to it being a fwd and a rust free car. no i just need to figure out if i should go OEM or if it is really worth getting kartboy and that other stuff.
broken
think it's rust? nope dirt, yea
supprisingly the big bushing is intake but ill replace it regardless. i cant belive it took me 5 years to do this

How do you let it get so bad that you can't drive on it...?

Ditch it for now, I haven't gotten around to putting in my O2 sensor after I put in my downpipe, and it runs perfectly fine. You can't really clean O2 sensors, just buy a new one.

The wheel bearing started making noise right after I took my snow tires off after the last snow storm, I mis took it as the brakes dragging, but it wasn't seized so I was able to get back home and get it fixed.

Gave it a wash, found one of those Intake Super Charger things at the junkyard. I decided to install it and see what happens, and nothing noticable. lol.
Looks like this one...

Well my intake already whistled whenever I get on it, so I didn't notice any difference.

OMG, lol, really? ^^^ I hope you didnt pay to much for that thing. Iv seen dyno sheets say you actually loose horse power by having that restriction in your intake. Way to give it the old college try though. Got my exhaust cut again and pulled up closer to the chasis so i can get my ground clearence back. Installed my wideband (AEM) and got to driving around. It reasured me that things are running well throughout the powerband. Although i am running 10:1 at WOT which seems a bit rich, but at least its not lean. Phew. I wish i could turn up the boost a bit so i can ad more air to the equation. But at 15 psi im pretty sure im at the upper limit of what these stock 370cc injectors can flow, from what i read on here).

It was saturday but I finally pulled the core support back into place for the most part. Such a simple method too, pull up to a post/ tree, wrap either a chain or bike lock around post/ tree, wind bike lock/ chain around bent area of core support, put it in reverse, and give it a little bit of gas for a tug in the right direction. I gave it three mild tugs and its almost all the way back in place.

The method sounds complex but its really not complex at all, yes, if you give it too much gas you can screw it all up but as lon as you're careful its all good.
