Crap... my memory is failing me in my old age.

The animal on the Volvo decal is not a horse, it's a moose.

I don't like timing belts on interference motors"

my bad, I didnt read your comment thoroughly enough(vg/ve). Mine is 94, and i have a 2nd engine I am working on that is out of a 94. No crummy vtc's to worry about. Although it just worked out that way. I know the cars and engines extremely well. I have never really bothered with a GXE for anything other than spare odds and ends however. Funny that you've been through so many of them. Wreck 'em?
haven't wrecked a single one.
#1 ImageI had for 2 years before the city took it
#2 Image
was 5 speed that I bought for cheap and was already rear ended, I had thought about it keeping it, but decided against it.
#3 Imagewas a cheap one that I bought because I wanted another one, but it was rusted big time and needed a bunch of work (VTCs, fuel lines, new body) sold it and bought #4
#4 Image
I bought, drove it, upgraded it, sold it to buy an STS
BIG mistake the STS had a leaky trunk, and ticked me off so I sold it

That's a bit of a hurdle. I'm hoping to build a car before I build kids. :)

Oh, I've never seen that Volvo sticker before. Pretty cool, kind of a parody on Ferrari without verging into cry-baby lawsuit territory (like the sheetmetal union suing Jesse James for an obvious parody that is protected by law and not a violation of copywrite. Humorless tools.).
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
