You spray your roof with soapy water, lay the vinyl down and then squeegee it out. My friend did it to his car. It even looks great around his sunroof!
Sounds exactly like the process of installing tint to your windows.
But where's a good place to buy it?

Ebay $10.95 per 48"x12" increments = $54.75 for 4'x5' sheet + $9.95 shipping = $64.70 shipped

Vinyl is actually more forgiving than tint to work with. I've worked with both. If you don't know what you're doing with tint you can crease it very easily and ruin the sheet. Vinyl is much thinker and its a lot harder to screw that up.

Yeah, i was thinking the other vinyl. It is pretty much like tint, but an area that big, you'll have to be careful and patient unless you don't mind bubbles.

This is true, it can stretch a little too, but I wouldn't do that too much or it will show and it could make it hard to get flat once you get a little further into it.
I used hot pink vinyl on my e30 wheels

Ok, I got a call today and the car was painted last night and should be done drying and ready for pickup tomorrow! I'll try to post up some teaser pics before I go to work.
Being without a car for this long is annoying. It makes me feel like I'm 14 again - always asking for rides and relying on other people to get you where you need to go. I've been getting rides to work from my younger sister! Hahaha.

It's my sister's now; which just makes it that much worse. Toted around by your younger sister in a car that used to be yours haha.

I'm not talking about the hood scoop, I'm talking about his vent in front of the hood scoop.

looks pretty good although now the white rims don't seem as great . Time for gunmetal rim repaint or gold.

Haha. I can't decide if I like them or not.
Time to get the same rims, but in hyperblack. It's like a gunmetal pearl color.

Those would probably look nice in that color.

Here's a better picture with a better camera. I honestly don't think the wheels look that bad in person.

Haha thanks Zach!
The scoop actually isn't perfect, but definitely looks good from a few feet away - just a few minor imperfections here and there.
