True, true. That's what I should do with the RS's wheels probably.

Couple minor things. New valve stem caps and some easy id fuses.

Inspired by a '97 Outback. Who can guess what it is?

Replaced my rear view mirror with a mirror from an LS out of the junkyard that didn't have a messed up reflective material behind the glass. Replaced 3 out of 4 rubber thingies that go on the door sensors. Fixed my rear passenger door that wasn't working, turned out it wasn't plugged in lol. Replaced a broken bolt hole cover on the dash at the corner of the windshield.

I also scored lights that go in the door cards on all 4 doors off the LS but when I removed my door card I didn't see the connector to hook the lights up so that sucks. :(

And its plenty sturdy too, can handle a full medium soda from Jack in the Box without moving at all.

Jealous of that, I only have one on the right rear, connector is pink. I have a non working one on the drivers door too, I'll probably wire it up eventually. Did the LS have the intermitten wiper stalk or was in a wagon?

Installed a new right front CV axle on the car along with a tire rotation and balance at the shop where I work. 25 minutes with air tools and 75 bucks for a new axle at wholesale price, saving 70 bucks thanks to my job :-D

Installed 2 more cigarette lighter ports. One looks clean and it's above the stock lighter
port in that black square of nothingness and the other is below. It's one of those you mount
underneath the dash. All in all I'm happy with it :D

Well I ran 12 gauge wire so I could push more power. I just wanted it for long trips.
One for my cooler, one for my GPS and the other for the radar detector. I guess
the radar detector can be for my cell phone too. I only drive 5mph over, but I like
knowing where cops are regardless.

Washed the whole thing then wet sanded the drivers side fender, doors from the trim up, rear quarter panel, trunk, left tail light, trunk garnish, some of the right tail light, and the top of the rear quarter panel. I ran out of time to buff the whole car, minus the hood, so I'll be doing that tomorrow.

Finally got to buffing and polishing the whole car. Oddly enough, the parts that benifited from the cut and buff the most were the ones I painted recently. On to pictures. :D

Hit a deer sunday night, took a rubber mallet to my hood and fixed it pretty good actually, it latches and doesnt look too horrible for the time being until i find a new one. Also had to get a grill, bought one from a 94 (with the ugly chrome) painted it all black last night.

Now just to seal up my extra set of headlights and put them in.

Bummer. I saw a guy today in a 94 alpine GT wagon and it had the full ground effects kit on it and I wanted to hunt him down and offer him money for his rear lip but I didn't.

I am getting closer to starting the motor up. I put the AC all back together yesterday. Drained all the old oil put fresh oil in, pulled a vacuum, and then charged the system with about 1/2 a can so there would be pressure in the system. I'll have to fully charge once the engine is running. I also filled the AWIC with my preferred blend: 75% distilled water, 25% antifreeze, and 1oz Redline Water Wetter (per 1 qt of water/coolant).

I'm waiting for parts so I can get the fuel system buttoned back up.

Yours is a car I would love to have. The attention to detail and care that you've put into your legacy is astounding Josh. Props to you!

Thanks kimokalihi. Adding the aux in was kinda fun.

I'll keep an eye out, this one was at the pick a part (or whatever it's called now) in lynnwood where mike-tracy works. The posts that the springs connect to were both broken off, but i just piloted a hole for some small hex nuts and used those to replace the posts.

Off topic and wrong thread, but spotted mike-tracy in person at that pick a part a few weeks ago.
