Nico

I spent two years in Toronto--the heat and the humidity in the summer was horrendous---won't go there between late May and late September.

Also the only reason why people live there is because they like to see the air they breath. :smt090

You haven't seen humidity until you've come down south.

LoL. u guys are kool.

i just wanted to throw in my 2 cents. u guys got me seriously thinkin about jus doin a front mount now instead of going top mount for a lil while.

does anyone have a rough estimate of how much they spent to make their custom front mount?

also, do u guys use 3 inch piping for your front mounts?

and would it be best to get the turbo clocked differently?

thanks guys

Project - glad to hear we've got another possible front-mount conversion from a temporary top-mount plan :)

The turbo can be clocked however you want to assist with your piping; it's all custom anyway so you have lots of freedom with this one.

I used 2.5" piping, because 1) I couldn't see how I'd fit any larger with the routing I had planned, and 2) it's the largest section of pipe that particular muffler shop had handy at the time.

Much more info in this thread: http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=25308

A quote from that thread on my FMIC's cost:
I only had to cut the top off the bumper to fit mine; although I also had to cut holes for the inlet/outlet piping to pass through. I used all 2.5" piping. Which was all 2.5" exhaust piping, bent into 5 90 degree turns and purchased as a single 7' piece for $35. The various truck radiator hoses and silicon couplers ran me a good $100 or so, and I won the intercooler off eBay for $80.

I think maybe 400 dollars total, 300 for the intercooler and another hundred for piping and clamps and misc items.

heh that seriously doesnt sound that bad at all. would be a great weekend project when i upgrade my turbo. i can pick up some STi turbos for pretty cheap. a VF39. would that be a pretty good choice? and then have it clocked? for me, that seems the cheapest solution for some pretty badass power.

Hot asian women is right, especially the asian MILFs around here are incredible. Asian women age more gracefully than any other broads. I think alberta would be the perfect Subaru Getaway destination, as I live on an acreage with a lake right beside it that I have cleared a track on for ice racing
Nothing like an all wheel monster with tight handling and turbo power flying wide open and drifting on a lake

Nico, I'm a writer. The fourth novel in my series takes place partly in Montreal.

Asian women definitely age slower than most. Early twenties sometimes look underage and thirties look twenties ... THAT I like. One of the hottest women I met was this Cambodian woman, 33 (would've sworn 23), with three kids (and NO sign of it! I saw her stomach). And in spite of the stereotypes, she was very funny. She also drove an SVX. If she weren't married ...
