Gidday,Could someone please tell me how to wire in the doors for a
car alarm so it operates on all the doors. So far I have tried going
from door to door all different ways to no avail.I can get it to
operate on a single door but, I think the door open lights on the
dash are playing a part? Thanks Keith Catchpole.

I'm assuming you mean, you want to make it so when you disarm/arm the alarm it unlocks/locks the power locks.....this correct?

If so, you will need a door lock servo actuator. You can not wire into the stock electric door locks.

Here is a picture of what I'm talking about http://pix.crutchfield.com/lifestyle/2000/h514DS2.jpeg

You'd just mount it in the door, then connect the actuator to the power door lock shaft.

The actuators are not very expensive, I think the one in the pic is 20 bucks USD. I would just pic one up locally at your stereo shop.

Hope that helps.

Josh

Josh:
Are you referring to the continuous 12V to the door locks? Dan :-)

ummm.....not 100% sure what you mean......

Yeah you can tie into the 12v constant.....to get power....but what I was meaning is that you can't just tie into the door lock unlock/lock wires and just have the alarm pulse those wires......subaru's don't work that way....almost every other power lock setup does.....
