upgraded fuel injectors

If someone was to upgrade only their fuel injectors, without
modifying the ECU at all, would this cause a rich fuel
mixture? ...Since the ECU thinks the injectors flow at a certain rate
but in reality they flow x% better?

yes, you would need some for of fuel control like an Apex'i SAFC or HKS SAFR, or step up to some form of engine nmanagement

Thanks Adam, I was wondering why my exhaust tip was all black and I
lost 3 oxygen sensors in a row I've been looking into the Link or
Haltech ECU to provide the boost and fuel control I need. Anybody
have a used/cheap parallel/independent engine management system?

We are a LINK dealer..could set you up with a LINK 2 for sure...prices are about $1400 or so, but would need to find out if it will work on a US spec BC (it should)

Bret could confirm this but I think the link and the link 2 is made for the stock overseas (sorry, non-north america) cars which came witht the coil pak per cyliner. Howevere I thinkyou could over come this aftermarket coils.

This could easily be rectified.we ahve use dhte LINK 2 on RS's before they
came out with the plug and play varient...just use the universal one.

Alaso, not sure if overseas got the 2.2 turbo..my Japan supplier tells me
they only got 2.0 liter versions of the BC5

Mark + Adam: I'm running the EJ20 with quad coils from Japan. I would
need the "wire-in" Link or Link 2 that comes with its own wiring
harness.

Adam: $1400 for wire-in Link2? How much for the Seriallink for PC
programming/logging? How much for the regular Link (LEM)?
