Sad day...

Post by Mark Ward »

Well my Subaru Legacy drives off to its new home this Sunday... Freshly put together, new flywheel, clutch, all seals, newish motor.
I took it for a last spin tonight, after not driving it since last September (Just got it back from the shop) and I remebered why these cars are so popular to fix up.
Looks like your moms car but kicks butt. With the EJ20T and about 12lbs boost it sure flys and with good brakes, it sure stops fast. Caged, it really handles well. Hope the new owner doesnt kill himself...
It will be out racing in 2004 with its new owner.

Noooooooo!!! It's tough to see someone lose one of these fine cars. Especially when they've been around a while. Make sure you get some pics of it once it starts racing.

Such is life.

I'm sure that you'll probably pick up another one when the burden lightens a bit.

Shame..

I remember riding in Marks car back at t-bird rally in 2002, crusing those waaay out back canadian boonies. That's when it was still running in limp mode... Well, if the japanese consider 110mph limp mode, well, damnit, someone chop my leg off!

Will the new owner use it for stage rally, road racing, track days?

Speaking of rally, know anyone who is looking for a co-driver up north?

Ahh, as far as the car goes. It will be staged rallied starting next year. He will be rally-crossing it this year and TSD. It maybe available rent later this year.

As far as co-driver, contact ken@rallybc.com and ask him. He is my rally partner and he has a shop now in Vancouver.
