engine gurgling

Post by teaguespeed »

i have noticed when i open the hood shortly after shutting off the engine, fuly warmed up, that there is a gargling sound coming from around the black coolant tank. It doesnt bother me that much but should it? When fully warmed up the temp gage is just below half way between hot and cold, is this what you guys see too? I have been told and seen that there is a bit of oil in my coolant, though i havn't gotten arround to flushing the system. My car doesn't leak any oil.
Thanks, Teague

I dunno, sounds normal to me. Probably just your reservoir loosing or gaining fluid as the engine cools.

The temperature needle is where it should be. And the oil in your coolant does not sound good. Get it flushed and if the oil returns start thinking head gasket.
