Legacy Import to UK from Japan info seek

Hi Guys and Dolls,
I am new to this forum, having been directed here by members of NASIOC.
I have just taken delivery of a real nice Wagon, allthe way from Japan. I lve in Scotland. The car is a 2ltr Legacy TS type R, 1994, with only 38000km on the clock. It is in brilliant condition, virtually new, all round.
Trouble is, I dont know anything about it. It has a full service history, and handbook-------all in Japanese!!
I have been trying all sorts of searches to find out what the Model Badge means, and to try and find manuals etc. its chassis stamp says BG5 and engine is EJ20. If anyone can tell me anything about this model, I would love to hear from you. Or alternatively, if this sort of info is published anywhere on the web. I found an excellent Impreza history/ model no's etc. site but they had not done that for Legacy's yet.
Another opinion I seek-------although very low milage, the timing belts are probably the originals--------should I get them changed, just to be on the safe side? The service documents dont seem to indicate that they have been changed, but I am not sure.
Nice to find this forum. Should be on the road with it tomorrow, as it has passed all its import tests.

yours is much the same as the uk legacy turbo.

except yours has a close ratio gearbox and i think the same engine setup as an impreza wrx.

loads of people on www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs have these.
