Headlights flicker?
My headlights flicker off sometimes and I have no clue why, the connectors seem to be in good shape, and all the relays are there. Any ideas?

What do you mean by flickering off? Does it flicker rapidly for a second or two, or does it turn off completely? Do they flicker on and off or do they get bright and dim? Do both bulbs do it at the same time?
It could be anything in the circuit path... Fuses, relays, switches, bulbs... Some clues can help us figure it out.

When I hit my brakes after a while my radio lights dim and come back. I've heard that is common and is either a sign of charging up the batter to fix it or a ground problem.
The other thing I've heard could be a sign is when your heater fan/ac fan comes on it can cause things to flicker. Does it happen at any of those times?

Re: Headlights flicker?
Bringing this thread back from the dead. My headlights started flickering and turning off completely for a second and coming back on. I thought maybe it was related to my stereo at first because I had it cranked (no amps, just stereo running stock front speakers) so I turned it off and it's been off for a couple days and it still does it. Tonight was when it did it the worst when it actually turned completely off for a solid second and came back on.
Could this be a relay going out? I don't like my lights going out in the dark.

Re: Headlights flicker?
I'd say it's either a relay or a ground.....or possibly could be the lighting switch stalk.

Re: Headlights flicker?
I read that people have had this problem with the contacts being dirty in the stalk but I wiggle it around a lot and it doesn't cut out. I'll find that relay and swap it out.
