I just changed my purge solenoid

I had a trouble code 35. Its the purge solenoid. I thought that that might be the problem with my car idleing up and down for a few seconds after I start it. But it wasn't. My car still does this. The old solenoid was bad, no resistance and it didn't open and close with battery jumper wires. I called two subaru dealers in my area and one wanted 145.00 and the other wanted 75.00. So it pays to shop around. Just wanted to share the expierence.

The problem may be your IAC valve.
