If you remove the blow off valve, move your ignitor, move the ac line, get custom tubing etc....

If your asking if its just bolt on then no.

Is the STi any wider (from TB to firewall) than the 02-04 wrx intercooler? If so, then I think even by moving all of those components you'll run into fitment problems.

If it is wider from TB to firewall it probably won't fit as the 02 WRX TMIC barely fits.

well I guess thats what I'm asking. If it is bigger than the regular wrx tmic. It is supposed to flow better but I dont know if its due to internal mods or if its larger. The main reason I'm asking is because I'm looking at an 02' wrx tmic on ebay and I also saw an sti one but its like 200 dollars more. is it worth it?????

Thanks, Mike

What kind of boost are you looking to run? I don't know if they're the same dimensions or not but unless you're going to run 17-18+ psi I don't think it'd pay to get the Sti IMO. $200 is a considarable difference. If they are the same deminsions though and you do plan to run some real high boost I would probably snag it. :)

well I've got a vf34 and will be running over 20lbs eventually. I just want something to hold me over until I do the FMIC.

I actually installed a WRX tmic on my turbo legacy. It bearly fit tho. I don't think there is any way to fit the sti under there. If your not going to keep it for long, just get the wrx ic.

I couldn't use the factory bov, but i did use the elbow off of it. You have to move the a/c lines, get some copper elbows, fuel filler hose, make a plate to cover the factory bov outlet, cut a hole to fit the elbow, hammer some welds on the firewall... A lot of work. I haven't even noticed much of a difference either with the stock scoop.

Good luck with that.
