If you could have 3 superpowers what would they be?

This is for non-Subaru related topics. Keep it realistic please.

I ask this question a lot but haven't asked here sooooo, what would everyone like?

Me personally, in order of importance:
1)Control of time
2)Control of space
3)Telepathy

I think answers need to be more specific.

For example, what exactly is control of time? The ability to go back and forth in time? Or the ability to change the rate of time's progression? You'd be separate from the rest of the world while this manipulation is going on?

I would try to pick super powers that are as close as possible to being orthogonal (meaning have as little overlap as possible). Maybe:

The ability to instantaneously heal myself and others. I consider the symptoms of old age something healable, too. So, this would mean if I chose to I could live forever and make anyone else live forever.

The ability to manipulate others' minds. This would allow me to read peoples' thoughts and change them when they were inconvenient for me.

The ability to instantaneously transport myself and my cargo to any point in time. This, combined with my first power, would allow me to accomplish almost anything physically accomplishable, since I could go back in time and set things up (including setting up peoples' thoughts using my second power).

'Course, I'm assuming we're not allowed to choose "the ability to give myself any super powers I want." :)

Close runners-up were the ability to change the rate of flow of time and the ability to teleport myself or other things.

vrg3's mind control

The ability to change one thing, into something else that essentially does the same function(ie: stock worn out springs... *poof* whitelines, stock intake manifold *poof* turbo intake manifold, w/ turbo attached, ramen noodles *poof* homemade raviolis)

weather control

control of time to me means being able to stop time, speed it up, and reverse the flow of it.

control of space to me is the ability to move or distort any object including myself

(1) The ability to have my Legacy change for the latest, fastest new Subaru every year...
(2) The ability to drive really, really well (ref: Colin McRae)
(3) The ability to implement peace in the world
(3a) The ability to ensure that the road I want to drive on is empty whilst I drive on it...

Unable to die (chopped off parts regenerate and the old part disintegrates, no aging)
Infinite memory, photographic when I wanted.

Thats enough for me.

I'd be all over that.

My other two...

To be able to drive like Tif Needel
and to be able to pop every kernel in a microwave bag of popcorn.

With those last two powers I'd be able to rule the world.

I like the regeneration idea. Something akin to Wolverine? The memory thing would be great too. Good ideas Ciper!

I want to be able to fire toothpaste out of my nostrils, the ability to duct tape severed limbs to me and be able to use them, and the ablility to always attract the opposite sex, for when my first two powers get dull.

Scott, it might require the third super power to get any member of the opposite sex to even come near you with those first two. :)

I don't see how the first one is a super power. If I was so inclined I'm sure I could fire toothpaste out of my nostrils. I think I would modify that power so that instead of shooting it out of my nose I would shoot rays of super heated toothpaste out of my eyes. That's assuming that the power had to involve toothpaste.

I think he was assuming he wouldn't have to keep a supply of toothpaste with him. Like, he'd be able to manufacture toothpaste in his nose and pressurize it.

Werd. . .

Although, if I had to choose one, it would be the ability to see, first-hand, multiple outcomes to the exact same event. IE, see multiple timelines stemming from a common moment.

Life's WAY too interesting to see just one of them. :)

Mind control comes up a lot, I've noticed. I wouldn't take it. The days would be far too boring if I could anticpiate, nay change, what people do. However, the ability to look into a person's mind might be interesting. . . and scary, all at the same time.

Aye. People scare me. Why can't everyone be a consistent type B with a healthy upbringing?

I would manufacture the toothpaste in my forehead (goodbye higher math!) and to fire it, i would wiggle my ears 2x, cause i wouldnt want to wiggle them once on accident and have an unfortunate pasting.

Any of you seen "What Women Want"?

I think just hearing what women have on their minds all the time would be awesome! :D

I would also love to be invisible whenever I wanted. That would be sweet...

The power to travel through time as if it were a DVD (slow mo, reverse, skip boring chapters)

The matter altering and teleportation abilities of Doctor Manhattan from Watchmen

Invisibility for myself and anything else, although this sort of fits in with the second one

Hmmm...

I think that teleportation would be nice, especially if it could be anywhere in the universe. Pair that up with super sight so you could see vast distances like through space. For the third I would pick an absorption ability so you could accquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities of others (maybe life force too). That way no one could imprison you. It would suck to be immortal and imprisoned for all eternity. You coldn't die so you would have to suffer. Absorbing abilities would be cool because then you wouldn't have to spend years or work to learn a skill. If you could take some small amount of life force then you could extend your life and choose not to if you got tired of living. 8)
