I was going to say the original, but with that much you are going to need intensive treatment

One thing that i've wondered since we got the ST-i was just how well something with 300 hp that can spin all 4 tires in first gear would handle in the snow. Guess I have my answer. Beautiful car you have there. Only a few more years and i might be able to afford the spoiler for one.

Actually. . . breaking the tires loose in the snow is possible in just about all gears. :P

Believe me. . . I have first-hand experience. ;)

Yup, Steven's Pass. . . . employee parking lot, far end. :P

The wheels are Rota Tarmac IIs in gunmetal

The tires are 225/45-17 Blizzak LM-22s

They're great in the snow and the wet, but on dry I just feel like I'm wearing-down all the good tread without the benefit of the bad-weather properties.

[shameless plug]Hey art, i've got a skidplate in my garage that i believe will fit your car. If you're interested, send me a pm and we'll have you stop by for a test fit. ;) [/shameless plug]

lol. . . . hmm. I'll have to see if regular WRX skidplates cause any issues with the STi's front LSD.

If not, you may just have yourself an interested buyer on your hands. . .

Oh, this is no regular WRX skidplate. It uses the removable subframe in your car as the mounting points and completely covers the underside. You find out your fitment question and let me know. ;)
