Anyone running a 4-point?
I found the immediate flaw in my 94 Turbo.
The auto seat-belts. I hate them with a passion. Well, I like them, but I hate having to not be reaching for something when I close the door.
SO, I was wondering about a 4-point harness. Kind of far off in the horizon for now, but I was curious if anyone was using one?
What did you loop the shoulder straps over before anchoring? Did you build a bar?
How did you delete the auto-belt feature?
I'm sure I'll get used to it, but it is kind of annoying.

At first I hated them, but now I don't even notice.

Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

I don't care if the womynz hate them. I really want to get some nice seats, cobra or sparco or more likely corbeau's. And four points. And if you are too fat to fit in them...well, thats a good weeding out process for the females that ride in my car.
I'm an ass.

Meh, doesn't hurt to dream eh?evolutionmovement wrote:That's the same thing I figured when I first started dreaming of what to do with the car. Women would absolutley hate them, too (not that they love the auto belts).

I'll see what money allows my modding to do. This summer, I should be bringing in a decent paycheck. That's when the trouble will start

Right now, I'm trying to figure out what do do with the almost $3,000 I have to play with. I was thinking STi Spec-C struts and some wheels/tires. My buddy is selling his Gold STi BBS rims with tires for $1500 and I am kind of considering taking him up on that.

I've boosted while I was un-intercooled, and it made no difference. As for boosting it up. Get a manual boost controller. They are like 30 bucks off e-bay.BAC5.2 wrote:That's what I was afraid of
I need something with a +48 offset, not the +55 of the STi's.
I'll be droping ~ an inch eventually (STi Spec-C struts and STi Pink springs).
I don't want to up the boost until I've got an Intercooler setup. How high can you crank the boost on the stock turbo?
98 LGT
My Prodrive 7s are +53 offset and it's the only way they can fit under the car. Then again, i have coilovers, but i know they worked just fine on a GC8 with stock suspension.

I thought p7's only came in +52 and +48 offsets? I can't even remember which I got though, so what do I know...
I kinda thought that +48 was norm for 17x7 but that if you wanted to run 225 instead of 215 that you needed the +52. At least if its dropped.
