Legacy Turbo ECU Pinout Diagram Needed
I am in need of a Pinout Diagram for a Legacy Turbo ECU.
I'm not sure if the ECU or wiring harnesses were different between the different years of the turbo legacy but any diagrams you may have would be a big help.
Thanks
Brad

Anyone have any ideas as to whether it is possible to buy connectors that will fit into the ECU and ECU wiring harness? And if so where? I've thought about junkyards...looking at that it looks as if I could use NA ones, maybe have to add a pin or two. Basically so someone could make an ECU/harness extension, that would allow people to tap into the wiring harness without cutting up the stock harness?
I would like to make one of these....
Thanks

I have made these harness extensions just as you describe, Micum. I cannibalize an ECU for its connectors, and use pieces from a couple of harnesses (I filled all the pins, even the ones not listed in the pinouts, just in case).
I've done a lot of messing around with my ECU but haven't cut any of its wires yet.

hmm i am a little confused. so lets go into detail for a little bit. i am doing an ej22t conversion on my N/A...
so what i will be doing with the pinouts will be this?
1. change the B58.4 (crank angle sensor +) TO B58.5 (crank angle sensor-)
and...
2. change the B56.1 (cam angle sensor +) TO B56.2 (cam angle sensor -)
3. will this be all? what about the shields? since im changing from non-turbo to turbo. it shows the cam angle sensor shield for turbo (crank angle sensor for N/A) is B56.3 and the crank angle sensor shield for turbo (cam angle sensor for N/A) as B58.6 . do i switch those as well?
4. are those the only things i have to worry about for the ecu pinouts?
thanks for the help guys. im really lost, and since this is now a sticky, anyone else who is as lost as i am will be able to find this without asking about it again.

Check out the other stickies. In particular, this one, which includes a link to factory service manual scans which include wiring diagrams which include wire colors:
