4EAT-5MT pedal swap
Can I swap the pedals over with the auto box still in?
Would I have to bleed the brakes after changing the pedals.
Also, can I fit the clutch master cyl in with the auto there? I'm thinking of fitting it and just cable tie'ing the slave cyl some where to drop it from hanging about.
I want to do as much as I can before having to take the car off the road.

Yes, they will fit in there fine.MY92 wrote:Can I swap the pedals over with the auto box still in?
Not unless you completely disconnect the brake master cylinder. I was able to put my 5mt pedal set in w/o opening the brake system. I did have to unbolt a few things so i could get room.Would I have to bleed the brakes after changing the pedals.
Should fit fine, looks like there is plenty of room for both. Also, can I fit the clutch master cyl in with the auto there?

Swap a pedal set in. Use a 5 speed shifter surround but keep the car auto. That would really throw everyone for a loop! You could use a strong spring to hold the clutch in its normal position to give it added realism.
How much space between the gas and brake between the two pedal sets?
The brake pedal on the manual set has a 2 pin plug and my auto set has a 4 pin plug. I can only assume that mine is 4 pin because it has cruise control and the extra pins are for cancelling cruise via the brake pedal.
Here is a pic of the plugs

Also on the manual set it has a cable for the gas, while my auto set doesn't have a cable at all. What could this be for?
Here is a pic of the manual pedals, I'll take another of the auto pedals in the car.

My mate has a surround that makes his auto look like a manual. Fools the guys when they put it on the dyno thats for sure
Ciper: do you want me to measure the gap between the pedals?

could the plug also be used for the thing that doesn't allow you to shift out of park unless you have the brake depressed or you press the shift unlock button?

The 2 plugger is for no cruise control, it just turns on the brake light, the 4 plugger turns on light and cancels cruise.MY92 wrote:I think the 2 plug must be ABS only and the 4 plug is for cruise and abs.
