This EJ22T is the 1st car i've had that has a real computer that actually does more than adjust the choke on a carburator. Im wondering if there's a way I can connect an aux. computer or display that will show me actual RPM, MPH, Fuel Mixture, and anything else I might want to know about my car.... timing, etc...
Since my car is canadian, i think this might help me decipher all the KM/h and Metric readings in my dash, also, i think it'd be just plain COOL!

It can be done, but I don't think anyone (other than Subaru) has made such a device publicly available. I use my laptop that way in my car, but I don't really have all the info yet on how to do it on any arbitrary Legacy. If I get it all sorted out I'll let you know. :)

i don't know if this will help in your quest, but you might consider a Apex-i AVC-R, my friends brother has one in his accord, and i have seen them in legacy's also, it alows you to monitor boost, speed, RPMs, Injector duty, Solenoid duty and throttle position, that i know of, but hey it's an option, check it out and see what you think.
I'll second the AVC-R, and combined with an S-AFC, you'd get fuel readings as well. They have a timing controller, but i've never seen one. For mixture you'd just have to set up a normal A/F gauge.
The Apex-i stuff is pricey, but it's very nice. They work by intercepting the signals from the sensors to the ECU, so you're not limited by the processing power of the ECU, just the capabilities of the device.
