MRT sway bars

Post by LegacyPunk »

Found some MRT sway bars on http://www.isrperformance.com
an adjustable rear one and a 20mm front one.
My question is would the fit on my 93 turbo, they say fits 90-99 Legacy's are all legacy sway bars basically the same?

Thats weird.

First turbo bars and NA bars are different. So a 2002+ WRX bar will fit a 91-94 legacy turbo.

90-94 should have a different part than 95-99. I guess they could have made one that fit both? NA and Turbo rears are the same.

so I could get a WRX 02+ front sway bar...sweet I could just go to my Subaru dealer and get a front bar for a WRX, they sell a bunch of aftermarket stuff, might even have MRT stuff, don't have to go through the internet.

what about the rear? would a WRX 02+ bar fit too or would it be safer to go with a Legacy bar?

its just the more I don't have to deal with the internet the better. im on my spring break and want to get as much done on my car as possible.

I think the WRX front bar and the stock legacy turbo bar are the same size. Most WRX aftermarket bars will fit though.

If you want a good rear bar just grab the whiteline adjustable unit intended specifically for our cars, with 18-19-20-21-22mm settings.
