I have decided to paint the chrome bumper trim instead of removing it. But I had a few questions.
1) Should I sand the entire black part (I am painting the whole thing, instead of just the chrome)?
2) Should I prime the whole thing? Or should I just paint the whole thing and not prime it?
I got some crap from pep-boys that is "trim paint" and should work pretty well. I probably will end up painting the door trim as well (below the window) and the whole door surround.
Should I sand and prime all of that too?

Really? The stuff is called "Trim Paint" and says it's for rubber and such. I would think it'd be fine.
What about the door/bumper trim?
I want the paint to match, you know?

Chrome and plastic are two relatively difficult things to paint in terms of paint longevity, so I would think paint that worked for one would probably not be ideal for both. The trim plastic is the same as the bumpers (ABS, urethane, or whatever it is) - although the end caps between the doors may be different - so auto paint should be as good with proper prep.
