Carbon Fiber Duckbill...
I have a friend who may be willing to make these if enough people are interested... Would you want one, and how much would you be willing to pay?

For the top of the wagon? How much?
I was going to try to make one myself, but I'd buy it if it were low profile with the right price.

If he doesn't have an autoclave, I'd need it to be paintable (which I'd prefer anyway).

something like this perhaps...
I'd prefer to have something that could be double sided taped on top of the current roof thing, but i'm not sure if that's possible
i dont really want it to stick up though... just add drag

You've got it exactly! Just a little something to add some stability out back. I need say no more - we are on the same page.

I beg to differ. I think it will help smoothe the turbulent airflow tumbling uncontrolled off the roof. Not that I think it'll mean zero lift.

I shouldn't be spending the money now on this, but $100 or so. More if and when I get a damn job!

Of course try to get it done the most cost effectively, but yes I would do 300 ready to be installed.
Then I suppose there is the question of material. CF or fiberglass. I would pay for either.

I'm out if it's still on. No money so I'll likely make my own out of fiberglass.

i just spoke with my friend joe again, i have to make the mold, and that'll take me a while, but once i get that made, he'll make them. But... If i do this, i'm taking a cut of the duckbill profit. do people want them to go straight out, or flare up a bit?
