offsets

ok im confused . when the offsets get bigger in number the wheels stick out less and when the numbers are smaller they stick out more?

i want to get rims that sit flush with the fenders not tucked inside or sticking out. would 42s work or would they stick out too far? and the same question for 48s

you may just want to go to a les schwab or something and see if they'll let you test fit. some places do

Werd. . . increased width will almost always mean a different offset, to keep the wheel's mass centered around the hub.

a larger positive offset will suck the wheel into the fender. You'll most likely rub with anything less then +45mm of offset.

I just put Rota's on my 90 wgn. at 48 mm they fit perfect.
