Need some help from the SF Bay members

As some of you know I'm looking for some legacies for my AWD swap. I found one in the SF Bay area (Palo Alto) It's a base model....the one below L I believe, AWD, 5spd for $999.

I've emailed the guy to see if he minds selling to someone out-of-state.....

If he doesn't.....would anyone in the area mind checking it out...making sure it's ok....and will get me back to Houston. In his post....he says he needs to get rid of it in a week......if that's the case.....and I do buy it....any chance I could keep it at someone's place until I can fly out there to get it....wouldn't be too long.....but I couldn't do it next week.

I know this is all still iffy....but any help would be greatly appreciated.
