Since I did the movie thread, might as well do favorite car songs. Here's a couple of the top:

She's My Baby, Faithless

Big Empty, Stone Temple Pilots

High Plains Drifter, Beastie Boys

Lil' Deuce Coupe, Beach Boys

Jerry Was a Racecar Driver, Primus

Bitchin' Camaro, Dead Milkmen

100 Miles and Runnin', NWA

Tall Cool One, Robert Plant (just because it was playing on the stereo when I drove my first car home)

Jesus Built My Hotrod, Ministry

Sex On Wheels, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult

And Hit & Run Holiday, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult for road trip album.

You could also include just songs that are good to drive to, but in my case I'll be listing every KMFDM song as well as a million others.

Just listen to all types of songs while you're driving. If it "seems right" it's a driving song

I was trying to see if I could get a list of songs with car content or about cars that people liked so that's why I wasn't just mentioning what I like to drive to, because that's almost anything except Whitney Houston, Toby Keith, or crap of that nature.

Holy crap.. I'm amazed anyone else has ever heard She's my Baby.. that song is great.. I've loved faithless for ages.. then I took the time to really listen to that song a few years back.. Kenny Loggins - Danger zone.. it's from top gun but you can apply it to both worlds...

that's all I can come up with... don't usually like "theme" songs about cars.. just stuff that'll get me hyper.. system of a down is great if you wanna thrash the teets off your car.. that and try to sing along if you think you're really tallented

I like to think the 2.0L RS lyric is about the Liberty RS. There's a part in one of my novels where the main character is driving his turbo wagon listening to that song. They've got some other great driving songs, too but that's the only one with car stuff.
